HOMO ESCAPEONS

I can only laugh at him. But I DON'T think I'd be alive without him -- or able to howl at life or hold people as closely as I do without him to show me the way. Happy Birthday, Mr. Coppens!

  1. You've a true friend in him. And he is hilarious! Y'all have so much fun together. That kind of friendship is special and truly heartfelt.

  7. I am more than a little verklempt.
You and I have been through a lot together over the past 3 decades.

Through it all we've had this fantastic union that steers us back on the tracks when we derail, and allows us to see what is really important, or how ridiculous we are.

I can't imagine my life "without" you because you've always been there when I needed a good kick in the arse, and you have encouraged me to pursue my dreams...and you're a tough but fair editor.

What draws me to you is the same thing that others see, you listen, you care, and you have never been afraid to be honest with me...no matter how much I dreaded hearing the truth.

I'm certain that we'll both need to lean on each other in the future and you have no idea how much safer I feel knowing that you will be there for me.
You're an unbelievably fantastic friend..a gift really.

    Thanks Chris.

  9. Chris,

You are very lucky a truer friend I do not believe exists. I think you both have something that few people ever find.

I hope you are feeling better and better Chris.

    Happy B-Day Donn.

    Soft love,
    T
