I was sutprised, on the night the Olympics opened, to see this...

It was from across the Red River from me, at The Forksand at our baseball park, home of the Northern League's Winnipeg Goldeyes, which I covered once or twice. It was fire works in Winnipeg, honouring the start of the Games, I assume.
