I have many more pix of him of course. But my son, Evan, 18, who's here this weekend with me and who is 18, has broken up with his first serious girlfriend. 
I felt very protective of her and wanted their relationship to succeed -- she is SUCH a beautiful girl -- but she and he recently broke up. I feel badly about this, but it is the way of the world.W
We two are very close. I coached him in baseball, for example, and tried to get him to love sports the way I do. But he didn't have the personality or talent for it. What he DOES have is acting and singing as an interest.

He has never had the atletic interest or skills of his dad. But that's OK. We both share the same interest in laughing at The Family Guy, among other things. And we do just fine.
My son doesn't have a care in the world and can spend time on the crucial job of becoming a man. And that's OK.
