NIKKO

This is Nikko, my younger brother Gerry's now dead dog. He was a Husky.
This is Darren, my brother-in-law, one of the most cool & relaxed guys I know. That's good, because his wife, my sister Lisa, is basically insane. No, not really.
Above & below are just pix -- from BEFORE I had my stroke. That's my mother Louise in the pic below with me.
This is one of the offspring Ken & Shauna's dog had a few years back. As far as we know, she was eaten by wolves. The mom, that is.

Just some more goofy pix of my son Evan...
I'll be doing this (above) over the next few weeks as people whine about why Canada doesn't do better at the Winter Olympics.

But we SHOULD do OK with this.
And this...

That's hockey player Jennifer Botterill of Winnipeg, above, and speed-skater Cindy Klassen of Winnipeg, who I covered as a cyclist at the Canada Summer Games in New Bruswick in 2000, below.

Below is biathlete Meghan Imrie of Falcon Lake, Manitoba, and below that is womens' hockey star of Canada Hayley Wickenheiser, whom I know well.

LET THE GAMES BEGIN!

    Feel free to obliterate...

You forgot curling, which should be good for a couple of medals (hopefully Gold).

    Goofy Anon :)

Down Under (at my place at least!) it's 1pm Sunday. We watched some of the ceremony over lunch. I had to mute our ridiculous bloody announcers who were making an embarrassing porridge of their job.
But I thought of you and guessed you are maybe feeling a little left out.
But it's good to see you back at the blog face, Chris. Even posting photos can be tiring so give yourself a pat on the back.
