All I can say is if he wins...

And if she wins with him...
Then Americans get everything they deserve, as they did when they elected and then re-elected Bush.

A minor detail is that the rest of the planet will also pay the price.

  4. No frickin' way. He's behind right now in the polls, Sarah will bring him down or he'll f*ck up.

But none of that should be the reason Obama wins. He should win because he's the right guy.

  5. I agree with your post... and I suspect he will win. Sad, isn't it?

It makes my head explode to see that the Reflublicans are even within nuclear missile range of the Dems.

But because they've managed to make Dubya disappear into the woodwork and they're hiding all the other bad things going on and McCain is somehow making people believe he didn't support Bush and his policies all along, he's close.

It's not about issues, it's about playing the game and throwing all the trick plays and politicking and strategies and image polishing crap out there...

...And relying on the one certainty outlined by Donnnnnnn in comment No. 3.

If McCain wins and Harper wins, I'm moving to Greenland. Or Iceland. Or Neverneverland.

  7. I still have faith that Obama will win! And I'm still voting Obama! At the very least, I can feel smug and superior to those idiots who vote McCain should he win and screw up the country!

Also, by next Presidential election, a good portion of elderly, right wing Republicans should be dead and in hell...

I still have faith and belief too that he'll win, but I'm not sure Biden was the best choice.

If the whole dynamic between Obama and Clinton hadn't gotten so soured and they hadn't beaten on each other so much, she could have been the VP on the ticket and I think they would have blown McCain and Palin out of the water.

I think the Far Right will always be there, regardless of the ages. I don't get it, but it's there.

If McCain wins, there will NO first American black president and there will be NO dynamic female VP either.

Clinton would win as pres hands down the next time around, I'm guessing, but who knows where McCain will have brought the world to then?

    Eek.
