Auto racing & other stupid things

I have very little to say...other than thank God for big families. The only people missing from this photo, which I think I took a couple of years ago, is my brother Doug from Ottawa and his three lovely kids and GF.

Below, that is one of my three sisters, Lisa, playing ball of all things.


This, below, is my youngest brother Gerry, giving me the finger. It's one of the nicest things he's ever given me.





Has anybody seen anything as stupid as car racing? As a so-called sport? How stupid can we be? How shallow? It is worse than all-star wrestling and requires about as much intellect.

    i'm an only child and now i'm also an orphan. i married into a big family and ultimately we had 4 children who've all married, but no grandchildren. so yes, hurrah for big families! yours looks lovely, sugar. xoxoxo

    re car racing, i've enjoyed watching the skill in formula one driving, but stock car racing leaves me cold.
